Fitness Tip – Salt Basics: Part 2
When you cut back your sodium intake, not only will you lose excess water, but you might start shedding excess fat. While salt is a flavor enhancer, some research has shown that it’s also an appetite stimulant. Those who cut back on salt will tend to feel more satisfied while consuming less food. Sounds like a win-win.
Try it for yourself. Say “no” to extra salt and see if it becomes easier to say “no” to extra food.
